Most groups want us to review group medical first, but others have specific issues or pain points they need addressed immediately.  Each group chooses the order from these lines of coverage:

The client can decide on the order during their discovery meeting, and their group benefits renewal date will likely be a factor in that decision.


21 Benefits focuses on group health insurance and related group benefit plans for the underserved employer population of groups with fewer than 500 employees. We also offer extensive market survey options for all group employee benefits and for 10+ PEO markets.  Too many groups with fewer than 500 employees  are taken for granted by local brokers, and therefore miss out on strategic planning.


Yes.  While the 90-Day sprint is focused on groups of <250 employees, we can also assist larger groups. For larger groups, we conduct the same 90-Day Sprint and Benefits Blueprint (including our crazy-rich guarantee), but we’ll likely recommend a top national broker partner to assist in the implementation and ongoing service to assure the very best client experience for larger groups.  As a result of our industry relationships, there is no maximum group size, and we can also handle international exposures.  Simply contact us below and tell us your situation.


A payroll provider focuses solely on processing employee wages, handling tax withholdings, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, essentially acting as a service to manage payroll logistics. In contrast, a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) offers a broader suite of HR services—including payroll, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and regulatory compliance—by entering into a co-employment relationship with the client’s workforce. This means the PEO becomes the employer of record for tax and insurance purposes, allowing small businesses to access enterprise-level HR support and benefits typically reserved for larger companies.


We integrate our group employee benefits electronic enrollment site with virtually any payroll provider, and we can also make alternate payroll provider recommendations if you are experiencing problems.  While our focus is primarily on integration, we do have payroll resources.


For the minority of groups (approximately 15%) who currently use a PEO, then we can conduct an extensive review, including pricing and service analysis by surveying all of the top PEO's using a single master application.  A big timesaver, and virtually certain to uncover savings.


21Benefits reviews the administrative side of retirement plans for integration with our online benefits platform. All investment related reviews are handled by a separate retirement plan specialist who is part of a team of 9 licensed individuals. 


The retirement plan team is product agnostic, and can work with virtually any retirement plan provider nationally without the need to change retirement plan companies.  If preferred, they can shop and make recommendations for a change if preferred. For compliance reasons, that team is introduced only after our consulting agreement begins.  


No part of your monthly or annual consulting fee is attributable to the retirement plan review. Rather, that review  is an added bonus that is included in the consulting package at no cost to you. 


Absolutely not.  But we can only offer our below-market consulting fee and our crazy 10x guarantee if we are likely to be awarded the business for at least one of your primary benefit lines.


Importantly, our most satisfied clients are those who allow us to make all of their problems go away for all of their benefit plans - both pricing and service.  That only happens if we are the broker of record for the plans we manage, and it is a win/win for our clients when our consulting fees permanently disappear after month 12.


But if your brother-in-law handles payroll, or your best friend and college buddy has been servicing your account for the last 20 and there is no possibility of a change, then tell us up front and we can provide guidance in that area but focus on your other lines.


Some clients are so frustrated with their current broker's lake of responsiveness that they ask us to take over all plans on day one.  We'll tailor your consulting plan to fit your needs.


Clients are assigned a dedicated team consisting of five team members:


▪  Account Executive – Manages employer relationship, makes renewal recommendations, conducts open enrollment meetings, builds long-term strategic plan.


▪  Account Coordinator – Customer-facing to assist employer with administration of the plan, onboarding, plan maintenance, communication, and supports the Account Executive.


▪  Customer Service Representative – Provides daily administration services to employees for support with claims issues, plan questions, qualifying events, network questions, and lost ID cards. Provides employer support for eligibility and billing issues.


▪  New Business Analyst – Non-customer facing role to support our internal team from the sale/renewal through implementation.


▪  Sales Administrative Assistant – Non-customer facing role to support our internal team with pre-sale/pre-renewal functions.


▪  John Daly establishes a consulting relationship with the a client, and establishes client goals and objectives.


▪  A Referral Management Specialist is assigned based on company location, and client will be contacted for the benefits review within two business days.


*  The group can prioritize the order of review, to include payroll/PEO, group benefits, retirement plan, and technology integration - in any order the group prefers.


▪  A summary will be sent to John Daly to update agency management system.


*  John Daly will present our findings to the group  prior to the 90 day mark, and will ask for permission to proceed on our recommendations if approved by the client.


▪  Reporting will be provided quarterly on client activity, follow-up assistance ratio, etc.


▪  We offer complimentary employment law advice through FordHarrison & access to other compliance services.


▪  After the initial consulting fee, there is no additional consulting cost to employers for any group naming 21 Benefits as their benefits insurance broker.
